How It Works
Trigger point injections are similar to acupuncture and massage. Small needles go into the area of muscles surrounding the spine that are tight and bound up. This method will help to relax your muscles.

Numbing Agents
The medication in trigger point injections consist of a numbing agent, mainly Lidocaine, a short acting medication. A longer acting numbing agent, Marcaine, can and will be used if necessary for the patient’s treatment.
By using trigger point injections, you’ll receive effective relief from the pain, swelling and inflammation caused by many health conditions.
